Monday and Tuesday students will be going to the Planetarium to view a presentation on The Space Race. This is the last week of the 3rd quarter so if you have any missing work you must turn it in by Thursday.
We will continue with the Solar System. This week we will discuss Mixture, Elements and Compounds as well as learn how to count elements and atoms in chemical formulas.

Measurement Scavenger Hunt took place end of last week/beginning of this week. This week we worked on the parts of the atom and reading the periodic table. We completed an Atom Building Activity at the end of the week.
Projects and due this week! CSA Test is fast approaching. CSA test will be administered the week of Jan. 14.
This week we are wrapping up weather, going over the water cycle and beginning the Energy Unit. Project assigned this week. It is due on Jan 7 or 8th depending upon the date you attend class. This week we continued with the Weather Unit and will wrap it up after the Winter Break.
Update: Projects will be assigned at the beginning of next week and will be due in January. Common Assessment on December 10 and 11.
This week we will be working on weather. Students will be assigned a second quarter project. Students will have some class time to begin their projects but are to be completed at home. The due date and project requirements will be posted on google classroom.
Students will be have a test next week. This week we will continue with Heat Transfer (we began the week of Thanksgiving Break) followed by clouds then weather. Students will have an assessment next week and a second quarter project coming soon.
Monday is an early release day for students. Tuesday is no school for students.
